Crew 42 just back from Lonesome Lake Hut Sharing a great weekend of fellowship, snowshoeing, hiking, climbing, sliding and just all around adventuring with Troop 248/250 Waltham! Over 20 years of sharing this weekend with amazing Scouts! Climbed Cannon on Sunday, with Bluebird skies and breath taking views! So proud of all who joined us challenging themselves this weekend. Can’t wait until 2027!

Crew 42 rang in the New Year with games, NYE Traditions from around the world, homade in the snow maple candy, sparklers, songs, watching the ball drop and of course some snow shoe hikes (one to watch the sunrise and another to summit a 4000 Footer in New Hampshire)!

So proud of this group for finding the joy in simple traditions, challenging hikes, and shared experiences! It was a great way to start a New Year!

If you are looking for a little holiday cheer, still looking for a Wreath or a Tree, come on down to Kilroy Square in Quincy and help our scouts raise money for all the events we have planned for the year. We also have some fire pits and hot cocoa!

Wrapping up another weekend of wreath and tree sales. We are in Kilroy Square until 5:00 pm there is still time to get your tree or wreath.

Members of Venturing Crew 42 were out infirce today, braving the cold temps, to sell more Christmas Trees and Wreaths to earn their way to summer camp. Come to Kilroy Square from 11am-5pm on Sunday 11/30/25 to show your support for them and get a great holiday decoration for your home.

Started our day off at the Quincy Veterans Day Parade! Glad to see so many Scouts out there showing their support and appreciation for our veterans.

A key part of the scouting program is helping the youth in our units become better citizens. Part of being a good citizen is being active in your community and a large part of that is voting when there is an election.

The right to vote is not something that every country has and should not be taken lightly. It is an important way to be active in your community and have a voice in the process.

A reminder to be sure to get out to vote on Tuesday 11/4/2025!
