Let's show Landon what community is all about!

At just 18 years old, Landon "Boogie" McPike is battling lymphoma cancer. On November 21, our neighbors in Hannibal are coming together to support Landon and his family.

The benefit will include a silent auction and food sales, with proceeds going toward supporting Landon during his treatment.

Organizers are also looking for donations of gift certificates, gift baskets, and other items for the silent auction.

A new and important event happening in Quincy. Quincy Children’s Museum, Cornerstone: Foundations for Families, and Blessing Health System have come together to create this impactful evening for kids in our community.

💙 Remembering Together

Grief looks different for every family, and sometimes, play can help us connect, remember, and navigate big feelings together.

In honor of Children's Grief Awareness Month, Quincy Children's Museum invites bereaved families to a special evening of play, connection, and togetherness.

📅 Thursday, November 19 | 5–7 PM

There’s no formal start time or schedule. Come when you can, stay as long as you'd like, enjoy dinner together, and explore the museum at your own pace.

In collaboration with Cornerstone and Blessing Health System, we're honored to create a welcoming space for families to play, connect, and remember together. We will have a variety of additional activities and resources available throughout the museum.

If your family has experienced a loss, we invite you to join us. Know a family who might benefit from this evening? Please help us spread the word by sharing this invitation with them.

Advance registration is encouraged to help us plan for dinner, but is not required. Families are welcome to attend whether they've registered or not!

What an incredible day!

Yesterday's Resilient Families Conference brought together people from across our communities with a shared goal: building stronger families and better outcomes for children.

Two years in the making, this conference reminded us what can happen when people come together to learn, connect, and work toward meaningful change.

Veterans and their families are invited to stop by and connect with local, state, and national organizations offering resources, services, and support right here in our community.
