We’re celebrating 30 years of service at the Wildlife Rehabilitators Association of Rhode Island (WRARI) and the Wildlife Clinic this year. THIRTY YEARS!

That’s 30 years of providing direct, hands-on medical and rehabilitative care to all species of wildlife within the state. And we do mean ALL wildlife - from the teensy tiny mouse to the bobcat, from the opossum to the peregrine falcon, from the mourning dove to the bald eagle. All life is celebrated here.

I am continually amazed by the work we’ve accomplished in this span of time. And when I say “we,” I mean our staff, Clinic volunteers, home rehabbers, board members, donors, and to the RI citizens who place their faith in us. It really is a “we.”

Perhaps that’s why we’re so excited about 401 Gives. 401 Gives, RI's statewide Day of Giving, offers the realization of the collective “we.” It recognizes that we all have roles to play in supporting the work of the many organizations that are caring for individuals, animals, nature, and more throughout our state.

And, so we’re asking for your help! Please make a donation to WRARI and the Wildlife Clinic TOMORROW, March 31, 2023 at the start of 401 Gives. We appreciate every dollar of your support.

Starting at 6:00 a.m. tomorrow, the RI Foundation will be matching every gift made $1 for $1 up to $25,000. That means when you donate early, your gift to us DOUBLES. Here’s the link to make a donation, starting March 31.

In recent years, the number of animals coming into the Clinic and to our home rehabbers has grown, reaching 6000+ unique animals PER YEAR. We anticipate that number to grow, especially as we’re the only organization within the state to service all injured and/or orphaned species of wildlife.

We look forward to continuing to celebrate 30 years with you. Thank you for your gifts and your support!

Hi friends! We need your help! We are in great need of dog food, especially dry dog food. We need to prepare many different diets on any given day and need a variety of foods to feed our hungry patients! If you have unopened, unexpired dog food to donate, it can be dropped off at our Weymouth hospital-500 Columbian St Weymouth

Dog food can also be sent directly to us through our Amazon wishlist, along with other high need items here: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/2WW4SGSTGNGNG?ref_=abls_nvfly_yl

We are so grateful for the support of our community, we couldn't do it without you! Thank you!!
