Quincy Public Schools Family Liaisons serve as the language and cultural bridge between the
families, schools, and the community.

🔶Cultural Bridge:
*As liaisons, they explain the American School System and Quincy Public Schools through a shared cultural and language perspective with the families.

🔶Language Bridge
*As interpreters, they render the speaker's exact message orally in an understandable language for the listener.
*As translators, they render the author's exact message in an understandable written language for the audience

On October 24th and October 25th, QPS EL Family Liaisons will be offering Parent Academies by language group for the new families to QPS who are interested in learning about the American School System and Quincy
Public Schools.

🔸Mandarin/Cantonese: October 24 from 10:00 - 11:00

🔸Portuguese: October 24 from 11:30 - 12:30

🔸Spanish: October 25 from 10:00 - 11:00
