Anne will have her funeral services held on October 8th at 12:00pm at Gerald B.H. Solomon National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville, N.Y.

Capital region NHG will be performing the tribute.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Singleton, Sullivan and Potter Funeral Home in Queensbury, NY. The Warren County Nurses Honor Guard is invited to join for this tribute.

During WWII she enrolled in the United States Cadet Nurse Corps, graduating from Mary Immaculate Hospital School of Nursing in 1946. Anne worked many years as a registered nurse in the U.S. Marine Hospital, Staten Island Hospital and the Visiting Nurses of Staten Island. Anne also volunteered as a school nurse for St. Anne’s elementary school and Academy of St. Dorothy’s on Staten Island before eventually finding her true passion as a full time stay at home mother.

Today, members of our Warren County Nurses Honor Guard had the privilege of paying tribute to fellow nurse Rita Flynn at Singleton Funeral Home.

Thank you to Sue, Diane, Conni, Stephanie,Victoria,Donna,Samantha and Belinda for providing Rita with the beautiful, dignified send-off she deserved. Your commitment to honoring our nursing colleagues is truly inspiring.

Thank you for answering the call, representing our guard so beautifully, and releasing Rita from her earthly nursing duties. 🕊️❤️

🕊️Today, a small group of us had the privilege of stepping in for a fellow nurse we never had the chance to know personally, but whose legacy we deeply respect.

When Betty Dolbeck’s family reached out to ask if an honor guard could be present for her tribute, we knew we had to answer.

Essex County does not have an active nurse honor guard, but the bond of our profession runs deep. I put out a call for volunteers, and I am incredibly proud of the nurses who stepped up and traveled to make this happen.

A special, heartfelt thank you to my fellow volunteers: Mary, Holly, Diane F, and Joan. Your willingness to give your time brought immense comfort to Betty’s family.

The tribute at the family plot in Crown Point was absolutely lovely, and it was moving to stand alongside the many family members and friends who gathered to celebrate her life.Though we didn't know Betty, we know the heart it takes to be a nurse. It was our absolute privilege to give her the final send-off she deserved.

Rest in peace🩺❤️

Today we received a donation of 10 large Nightingale lamps. Now when Amazon showed up I just assumed it was a package I bought late night that I did not remember

Thank you so much goes out to Mary Kennedy for donating 10 Nightingale lamps! With the honor guard this is typically the bulk of where the funds go!
