Join us for a Judicial Candidates Forum where you will have the opportunity to hear directly from candidates seeking judicial office, learn about their qualifications, and gain insight into the issues facing our courts.

This nonpartisan event is designed to educate voters and encourage civic engagement before Election Day.

The Queens Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is calling ALL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS to join Teen Lift — a college-preparatory program that culminates in an HBCU tour! 🏛️ Come learn, grow, and discover how you can better enrich your experiences and elevate your future!

Students will attend workshops covering everything needed to prepare for college, plus a student/parent orientation, before heading out on an unforgettable HBCU tour visiting schools like Lincoln, Howard, Morgan State, Virginia Union, Delaware State, and more! 💪🏾

💰 HBCU Tour Cost: $850

📣 TEEN LIFT OPEN HOUSE: Saturday, October 3, 2026 BUT… you can also join us for our Youth Programs Open House to learn more and find the right fit for your young person!

The Queens Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is calling all young men, ages 11-17, to join E.M.B.O.D.I. (Empowering Males to Build Opportunities for for Developing Independence)! Our young men will build brotherhood, leadership, and independence through monthly Saturday sessions, community service, and trips throughout the year.

Dynamic male speakers and male organizations in our community show them the way, working hand-in-hand with the Queens Deltas! 💪🏾⭐️

💯 Completely FREE!!!

🗓️ 2026-2027 Session Dates:

Eastern Region Social Action Committee 113 years ago, our Founders marched in the 1913 Woman Suffrage Procession, demanding a right that was not yet theirs. Black women would not see full, unimpeded access to the ballot until decades later, and that fight for access has never fully ended. That history is exactly why National Voter Registration Day, September 15, matters so much to who we are as a Sorority.

Every registration honors that struggle and carries it forward. It protects our voice in the decisions that shape our everyday lives: access to healthcare, the strength of our economy, the quality of our schools, and the freedoms we exercise every day. Registering isn’t just a box to check, it’s how we claim the seat at the table our Founders marched for.

Take a moment this week to check your voter registration status at vote411.org/deltasigmatheta, confirm your polling place, and share this post with three friends. Our legacy is action. Our power is engagement.

Queens Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is opening registration for the Dr. Jeanne L. Noble Delta G.E.M.S. — a FREE mentorship program for young ladies ages 14-18! From October through June, our GEMS will dive into topics like career & business, preparing for college and beyond, social media & online presence, and Black history — all while building sisterhood, gaining mentorship, and having fun through trips, giveaways, and discussions.

The new sorority year has officially begun, and the energy is unmistakable. QuAC is stepping into 2026–2027 with purpose, pride, and a renewed commitment to serve our community with excellence.

There’s a vibrant joy in the air as our Sorors reconnect, recommit, and celebrate the spirit of sisterhood that anchors everything we do. This year, we celebrate every woman who makes our chapter whole — from our cherished Delta Dears to our newest members and to the members returning home through reclamation. Each sister is valued, welcomed, and embraced as we move forward together.

The Physical and Mental Health Committee of the Queens Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. invites our sorors, family, friends, and community members to join us for the 2026 Walk to End Alzheimer’s as we walk in support of the millions of individuals and families impacted by Alzheimer’s disease.

Whether you walk with us, donate, or help spread the word, your support makes a difference. Together, we can raise awareness, support families, honor those we’ve lost, and help advance the fight to End Alzheimer’s.

Join us for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at the Queens Zoo in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, located at 53-51 111th Street, Queens, NY. Registration begins at 8:30 AM, and the ceremony begins at 9:45 AM.
