Project Speak Out

Project Speak Out First large-scale pan-Asian community education and domestic violence prevention campaign in New York City

• Project Speak Out will challenge the culture of silence imposed by communities on a victim of violence where seeking help is often punished with blame, stigma and shame brought upon the victim and her family. (Men also experience IVP, but majority of victims are women, and perpetrators men.)
• We will address the culture of impunity for the abuser, and how the community will sometimes rally around the abuser.
