The Young, Gifted & Black Entrepreneurial Awards is thrilled to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Winston Hubert McIntosh aka Peter Tosh!

Special thanks to Niambe McIntosh, Board Chair & Team, of the Peter Tosh Foundation for making this honor possible.

https://www.petertosh.com/history

It is with great honor to present to Peter Tosh this inaugural Legacy Impact Posthumous Award in addition to the YGB Caribbean Music Entertainment Icon Hall of Fame Induction

The Legacy Impact Posthumous Award recognizes & highlights the achievements of our fallen musical legends.

Peter Tosh's Body of Work, Artistic Innovation and Musical Excellence, Pioneering Influence, Social and Political Significance created an Advocacy Through Music songs that addressed social justice, human rights, freedom, peace, and equality. Peter Tosh created a platform that heard the Voice of the Oppressed to challenge oppression, colonialism, inequality, and systemic injustice.

He is a global icon that connected across nations, cultures, and generations, not just Jamaica. His contribution to Jamaica’s Cultural Heritage has elevated global recognition of Jamaican identity and Rastafari culture.
