In addition to the Huge 9/11 Anniversary Ceremony and tribute to first responders at the Hall of Flame Museum of Firefighting, I will be there signing the newly published Images of America book, Arizona's Fire Departments. Queen Valley, Superior and Florence Fire stations have their own pages in the book (along with 28 other AZ stations), recognizing the dedication, service and history of our local fire community. Hope to see you there, tell me where you are from and get a thank you gift for coming to support the QVHS and this exciting event releasing our newest book.

I am due to receive our new Arcadia Images of America Series book Arizona's Fire Departments around June 1, 2026. This has been a long journey of visiting fire departments/districts across Arizona over the past 18 months to fulfull my passion project of creating a record of firefighting in Arizona from Territorial Days to current times. The QVHS will take local orders with all proceeds going to local fire departments. I will be making visits all across AZ to do book signings and hold fundraisers for them. The retail online sales with Arcadia will begin June 30th.

Very successful QV Fire District Car Show today! Thank you Firehouse Subs, Americorp volunteers, our own Queen Valley Fire Auxilliary, our trophy and raffle donors and all our hard working firefighters. Most of all, thank you once again Rosie Wittig for your hard work putting on this the 10th annual QVFD Car Show fundraiser.
