Her Story

Alanya is an energetic outgoing 2 year old. Until May of 2014 she has been healthy.

That month Alanya was diagnosed with a tumor in her brain. She went into surgery to have the tumor removed and an MRI the next day. They found a second tumor and performed a second surgery to remove the second tumor. Alanya's mother and the entire family held their breath as they waited for the biopsy. It came back cancerous, Medulloblastoma. In July, Alanya did her first round of chemotherapy, an

d in August was her second. This precious little girl lost her hair in July during the first round of chemotherapy. There have been ups and downs during the treatment and positivity is the key to keeping Alayna going. Like many of the cancer victims, this family is being put under a lot of stress. Kris, Alany's mother, has had to take time off of work while Gabe, Alanya's father, must stay back and work. They also have a little boy named Markus. Because the hospital is 8 hours away, Kris and Alanya are far from their family during the chemo process. This family needs help. Please contact us to receive more information in order to help Alanya. Spero will be donating all funds to Alanya and her family for the time being.
