I’m looking for 3-4 individuals to take over this page. I don’t want it to just switch to non admin and public as it’ll spam out. I’m not affiliated, only worked for the school and was impressed with all of you that attended there, but my health isn’t conducive to trying to maintain this page, along with so many others. Send me a message please, I’ll put you in and the more, the easier it is to keep spammers from coming in.

The reputation of this school truly has gone the distance! As a volunteer to keep this page up for all of you Alumni, I am constantly contacted looking for assistance for their own kids. This really does speak volumes about such a successful program.

For anyone searching for help for their own student, please go to your students school counselor and ask for assistance there, as we cannot provide you with any as the school is no more and we have no information on the staff that worked there.

For those that attended; I personally can’t help you with locating classmates, this is easy for you to do on your own by making a post about who you are, your class and who you’re looking for.

I was thinking how great it would be to get a class or school reunion together. I’ve tried to get things organized in the past but unfortunately our family suffered many losses from the pandemic including my sister and my parents 13 days apart. But like I said, I’ll try and keep the page running so you all can keep a place to find each other.

I hope you all will take a moment and post a photo of you then and a current photo and maybe an update on life.

Hope you’re all still here and are doing great in life.

I’ve wanted to reach out to you Alumni and ask if you would be interested in having shirts made? I’ve got everything already typeset and ready to go buy it’s up to all of you.

I designed a very comfortable unisex T-shirt and I’m thinking of putting on the front at the left upper shoulder where a pocket would be the logo and on the back it could be one of these options:

A. A larger school logo
B. One of the plaques in the photo section.
C. Something you all would recognize as your own, that means something special.

Please let me know and if you’re even interested. I’ll let you know the final cost per shirt, if there are enough with interest.

Good Saturday Evening: Some of you may know that I have been a volunteer for this page so that you can maintain your community as Alumni of one of the greatest programs in Arizona.

Many individuals contact me requesting information to enroll their child and unfortunately, I can respond only that the school is permanently shut down and to contact their child's school counselor for an alternative school, which the school next door has moved onto the site.

I would like to keep the page up for you Alumni and any Staff that would like to share images, stories and just have a friendly place to hang out.

So far, my requests for assistance has led me to add the following as Moderators to this page.

Don Westbrook, Casey Culp, ReVae Roland, Mikey Fressh, Justin Kapaldo, and Frank Vasquez.

Please take your roles seriously. There are too many trolls, spam, bots and other garbage on FB that can easily infect your accounts and systems as well.

If you would like to be added, your profile must have an e-mail attached to it or send a private message with your e-mail, and you need to have an actual avatar and page so you can be identified as an Alumni. If you did respond, your e-mail isn't showing up so send a PM with it and you'll be added.

Thank you to all of those volunteering and being part of keeping this program's memory alive. You're all successes because you made it through this tough school, one that most others couldn't handle. I am honored to know the ones I've met and miss those faces that always gave a strange look our way while we were there working.

NOTICE: This School was shut down over a year ago. It’s up only for the alumni. If you’re seeking help with your child, contact your child’s counselor directly at their school.

If there are Alumni that would like to take over the Administration of this page, PM me directly so I can make you a Moderator. I’m looking for at least 10 so there may always be someone who can respond and moderate.

The school is closed. Sorry. If you are seeking a placement for your student, ask the school counselor for a recommendation. That is how it is done.

This is a great page for Alumni--

Are there volunteers that would like to help administer the page so that spammers and abusers don't take over the page?

Please reply with "add me" and you'll be added.

It is time that the Admin for this page relinquishes control to others. I am looking for 5 individuals that will be able to maintain it, keep it free from trolls and abusers.

Maybe this will help someone. Many keep asking where to go for their kids, we just don't know. 😒

For parents asking for their kids, this is what I was told to provide:

CANYON STATE ACADEMY is expanding. They still have their PRESTIGE DAY SCHOOL, those are for kids whom have been expelled from their own schools.
There is private placement, or if your child has an IEP in place, then you work through your districts office.

The school has started implementing girls into the program but they are already at full capacity. This program is in the "development stages".

Please contact Mr. Shawn Hill at:
480-203-7518 or [email protected] or visit:
www.canyonstateacademy.com or
Theprestigeschool.com

While I also feel a great sadness for the loss of such an amazing institution, there is hope that Canyon State Academy can help kids for many years to come.

I wish you all great success and happiness in your lives.
