Frisbie Field started as just a dream for one baseball dad. You see, Clint Frisbie and his son Colton frequently practiced baseball in the desert of their 4 acre property. In 2014, when his son was 10 years old, Dad decided to build him a field right in the backyard. And as his wife Kim will tell you, when he gets an idea about something, there's no stopping him. He immediately started putting in the work, leveling the land with his Bobcat, enlisting the help of his family rolling out 40k lbs of sod, building backstops, dugouts, bleachers, etc. About a year later, after many hours of hard work by one determined baseball dad, they had the field of their dreams. Colton has played with many teams ( but he's a Queen Creek Aces forever) since the field was created and every one of them has practiced and scrimmaged on the field. Now that Colton's getting older and moving on to HS ball, Clint has decided to utilize the field for local youngsters who want to come out and sharpen their baseball skills. He hopes to make an impact on the youth of our community by coaching them and giving them opportunities they wouldn't otherwise have. One man has truly made a difference in the lives of many children already. And as we all know, if you build it, THEY WILL COME!!!!
