Big thank you to all helping with Thanksgiving prep. From doing dishes to prepping food to hauling garbage, there's about a dozen people who assisted yesterday and thankfully many will be in today. A special shout out to Julie from Sunset Grill for potato donations and cold storage.
Reminder, we have half the dining seating than what we had last year, make your reservations or u will be waiting in a long line! FYI, donations for this dinner help us put on the next one. $10 a person helps us cover food costs.

Patriots Day will be honored at 6 pm on Sept. 11, 2024 at 6 pm at the Bells at Celias Rainbow Gardens. Public is welcome.

National POW/MIA Recognition Day in 2024 will be on Friday, September 20. This day honors prisoners of war (POW) and the over 81,000 who are still missing in action (MIA), as well as their families.
VFW 769 at 305 N Central Quartzsite will honor the day, Friday, Sept. 20, 2024 with a short ceremony at 10 am, public is welcome.

This is important. We were told at convention today that this bill has actions that will positively affect nearly all living veterans and their family members, especially caregivers. Please take action.
The Sen. Elizabeth Dole 21st Century Veterans Healthcare and Benefits Act is a comprehensive package that would provide healthcare and benefits for veterans, caregivers, and survivors. This package has the support of both Democrats and Republicans in the U.S. Senate, but lacks the support to receive a vote in the House of Representatives. This is because Democrats in the House have yet to signal support for this legislation that could provide life-altering and life-saving benefits. This bill is the result of a months-long compromise between varying stakeholders and is an example of how Washington, D.C. negotiations should work.

Dozens of organizations that advocate on behalf of veterans, caregivers, and survivors support this important legislation, and it deserves bipartisan AND bicameral support.

Take action and Tell your Congressional Representative to support the Sen. Elizabeth Dole 21st Century Veterans Healthcare and Benefits Act.
