Just a few glimpses of The Nottingham Four concert last evening. What an great way to wrap up the season! THANK YOU to the quartet for their amazing generosity to the Quarryville Lions! The show was fantastic. (And how cool that 2 of the Four are from Quarryville!) Thank you to Dewald Funeral and Cremation Services for donating and serving free popcorn and cotton candy. And thank you to all who come out and support this series.

As of 2:30 today (Saturday) two forecasts are saying we're good to go for the concert. A third is not looking great. So we're still standing by. Check back in a couple hours to see if we're moving the concert to the church. Either way, do make plans to join us for the Nottingham Four this evening!

Somehow the last Huffnagle Park concert of the summer is upon us! That's this Saturday, Aug. 8. The Nottingham Four will be bringing their Southern Gospel sound to the stage. And Dewald Funeral and Cremation Services will be passing out popcorn and cotton candy. See you there!

Kids and kids @❤ were treated to an amazing show this evening. THANK YOU to Street Lamp Productions for bringing your energy and talent to Huffnagle Park. You guys absolutely rocked. Bravo to you .. and also to bubbles. As a reminder, on Aug. 8 we'll welcome Nottingham Four to the stage. Fans of Southern Gospel will want to turn out for that last Huffnagle show of the summer. Spoiler alert for Saturday’s show. So much energy. So much talent. And SO. MUCH. FUN! Had a chance to sit in on (and take some pix of) rehearsal last night at Street Lamp Productions in Rising Sun. And we can now say with CERTAINTY that your kids won’t want to miss it. But please do come out to Huffnagle Park even if you aren’t rolling with a kiddo in tow. These guys will deserve (and no doubt appreciate) the extra applause on a show they put together specifically for Huffnagle! And you'll leave smiling and humming a tune. Think Disney. Think musicals. Even a quick dose of Abba! A few reminders … (Please read to the end if you’re new to these shows.) Bring a blanket or chairs. The show starts at 7 p.m. on Saturday Aug. 1 and will last about 45 minutes. Kids who come early at 6:30 can decorate a cardboard guitar to take home. Solanco Neighborhood Ministries will be there to collect any cans of soup folks bring along. There’s no cost to attend thanks to the The Quarryville Lions who sponsor this series. The Lions do pass a basket for anyone willing to chip in something to help them defray the cost. But there’s zero pressure to put anything in it. The most important thing is that folks come out and enjoy!

Street Lamp Productions (based in Rising Sun) will take the stage this Saturday, Aug. 1, for what promises to be a high energy show! It was designed with kids in mind. But we're CERTAIN kids of all ages will enjoy. So no matter your age, please come out cheer on this group of peformers who put together this show specifically because we asked back in January! We're told we're in store for some songs from Disney, some from musicals and more. Show starts at 7 p.m. Kids who come early (6:30 p.m.) can color a cardboard guitar to take home (while supplies last.) P.S. We realize this isn't necessarily the best venue to communicate with parents of today's younger kiddos. So spread the word, please and thank you.

Just a few shots from tonight's Tanner Bingaman concert. Thanks for sharing your amazing talent, Tanner! Happy to see everyone who came out on this beautiful evening. Up next on Saturday, Aug. 1 is the 'For the Kids' show. But kids of all ages -- 1 to 101 -- are welcome to enjoy. Street Lamp Productions of Rising Sun will be performing some songs from Disney, some from musicals, plus a few more. That show starts at 7 p.m. Kids who come early (at 6:30) can decorate cardboard guitars to take home. OK, so those guitars might not be as cool as Tanner's, but they should still be fun.
