Local immigration attorney Paige Britton will share her professional experience working within the U.S. immigration system on Saturday, 27 June. The topic will be "Asylum – How can a person gain safety from persecution?"

Learn about the laws that offer protection to noncitizens fleeing harm in their home countries. How easy is it to get asylum, and who qualifies? What do they need to prove, and how do they make their case for asylum relief?

We had fun celebrating our volunteers and our nation’s birthday at our Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon!

Summer SWEEP is for students who are enrolled in the SWEEP program(Student WeekEnd Eating Program) throughout the school year. To offset food expenses in the summer when the free breakfast and lunch program is not available, the ministry provides meals for the students and their families in June, July, and August.

If you would like to contribute, we are requesting the following items:
Tuna, baked beans(15oz), chicken noodle soup(10.75oz), Chef Boyardee(15oz), corn, green beans, granola bars, peanut butter, crackers, and bags of pretzels. 😊

Thank you to the 106 attendees of the One Solanco Community Breakfast, an awareness event dedicated to addressing the pressing issues of poverty, youth, and mental health in our community. Attendees had the opportunity to hear from Solid Rock Youth Ministries, New Hope Counseling Center, S.N.M. and the Solanco School District, about insights and collaborative efforts aimed at building a stronger, united Solanco.
