Solanco Fair Since 1950, the Solanco Fair has been a Southern Lancaster County tradition—celebrating agriculture and community.

Each September in Quarryville, the fairgrounds come alive with exhibits, food stands, parades, contests, and 4-H & FFA showcases.

Hard to believe it’s already that time of year again. Fair season is right around the corner! 🐄🌽🐷 🚜

We recently finished printing the fair books for the West Lampeter Fair and Solanco Fair. It’s always neat to see these come through the shop and know that fair season isn’t far behind.

We’re glad to have a small part in these longtime local traditions, and we’re looking forward to seeing everyone at the fairs this September!

Fair Sweet Corn Prep Day! 🌽

Help us get the sweet corn ready for this year’s fair! We’re looking for volunteers to help husk, silk, and cut corn on:

If you’ll be helping with cutting corn, please bring your own knife.

🐖 Attention Swine Exhibitors 🐖

As you start planning for this year’s project, here are a few quick updates!

• Weights: The weight limit is increasing to 240-300 lbs for 2026.

• RFID Tags: All hogs are required to have an RFID tag. We’ve been flexible in the past, but this is now a state requirement, so please make sure your hog is tagged ahead of time.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to anyone on the swine committee!
