Hello All!

We want to provide a quick update on the pantry inventory.

We had an inquiry about kitten food, so we just added both canned and dry (the cans are in a box of 12, take as many as you need, and we'll keep these replenished going forward.)

We temporarily removed the zipper bag that had coupons, and over the weekend we'll be replacing it with another clear acrylic box on the OUTSIDE of the pantry (opposite side from the resource leaflets.)

PLEASE NOTE that the box will be temporarily closed from November 1st through probably mid-December, so that we can run the Christmas Angel Box like we did last year. We'll post more info as we have it, but this year people will have the option of donating amounts of their choosing, purchasing gift(s) from an Amazon Wish List created for each child (or family--still working on the logistics!) or simply buying gifts in person and delivering them to us for distribution.

FOOD AND PET SUPPLIES will still be available during this period, but will be stored elsewhere, and we'll be happy to arrange a time for you to pick them up, or we can deliver them to you.

All this information will be posted on the physical box once we've ironed out the details.

Sorry friends. There’s a possibility that our Pantry is being targeted by an individual who runs another charitable organization because we — the couple who run the pantry — made a comment on a post about Ai-generated flyers.

We hope that the pantry is able to continue, regardless of the threats made against us by Homeless to Independence. We prefer to see charitable and beneficial organizations work together, but sometimes people are unable to see the bigger picture and help others. They let ego get in the way of benevolence and it’s very disheartening.

Hello friends!

We are so happy to see an uptick in usage of the pantry along with donations as well.

An important note regarding donations:
1) Please — no “people food” and this includes canned tuna. Tuna fish in cans is not safe for cats. Any tuna we receive is donated to the Quakertown Food Pantry. We would recommend you do the same.

2) Please — no open or loose food. Due to safety concerns, all food must be sealed in their original containers.

3) Please — check your expiration and best by dates. While the food is “free” we don’t want to feed our four-legged friends anything that is bad or expired.

The Naylor Court Pet Pantry is looking to grow and we are crowd-sourcing for help.

It would be nice if could expand the pet pantry to serve more people, and have more inventory.

The ideal situation would be to have a environmentally-controlled space (like a small storage unit, or an accessible office space) where we can stock larger quantities of items, and larger items in general (we collect used pet carriers, crates, and similar large items, and are currently keeping them in an off-site garden shed.)

Unfortunately, if we're paying for this storage space, we can't also afford to keep it stocked.

Does anyone have, or know of, a space like this that we could have access to? This does not need to be a store-front type situation, just accessible to us so that we can store and retrieve a larger volume of items. Because it would contain pet food, it needs to be relatively temperature controlled (outdoors sheds get too hot in the summer.)

If anyone has something like this, or knows of a business who would be wiling to donate space like this, please let us know!

Starting today, the page and the pantry have changed our purpose.

Welcome to the NAYLOR COURT LITTLE PET PANTRY!

What was formerly the Art On Naylor box and the Naylor Court Christmas Angels box at 9 Naylor Court is transitioning once more — this time to help our our four-legged friends.

The focus is to help bring food and necessary supplies to pets whose families are struggling and unable to keep up financially with the responsibility of pet care.

If you’re a pet owner in need, stop by the box and please help yourself to food and supplies for your furry family members. Please take only what you need and also feel free to leave donations as well.

More detailed instructions are on the box but here’s the simple info:

1) This is a charitable donation. Please treat it accordingly and only take what is necessary. We will be including information for more long term support options.

2) While everyone is welcome to use the pantry, children MUST be accompanied by an adult when using the pantry. Kids mean well but don’t always understand the proper intent of the pet pantry or know when to say when.

3) If you are making any food donations please make sure it is UNOPENED and NOT EXPIRED. Also keep in mind that sunnier and warmer days may not be kind to certain foods.

4) please keep any donations appropriately sized for the limitations of the box.

5) Larger donations of pet beds, blankets, carriers, crates need to be approved and can be done at our front door.

6) Please be mindful not to block anyone’s car or driveway when using the pantry. There is usually open parking on Roan Tree if necessary to stop more than a moment.

Times are tough for many, but together, all of our generosity can help keep our animal companions from experiencing any food insecurity.

We just got another request (this one by email) last night! If anyone was hoping to adopt, but didn't have a chance to grab a slip from the Angel box, please let us know-- we can send you the info you need directly, so you don't have to drive over for it.

This holiday season, many families in our community are facing hard times — and for some, even a small gift can make a big difference.

What was formerly the Art On Naylor box at 9 Naylor Court is transitioning to a Christmas Angels box (this is also inclusive of Hanukkah and Kwanza as well). The focus is to help bring joy to local children whose families are struggling this year.

If you’re a parent in need, stop by the box and fill out a slip for each child looking for gifts. If you’re able to be an Angel, please select one of the filled out forms.

More detailed instructions on participation are on the box and you can always message me for more info.

Your kindness will help remind these kids — and their families — that they are seen, loved, and supported by their community.

Times are tough for many, but together, our generosity can help make this Holiday season a little brighter.
