Hey Quakertown! Every once in a while, someone in our community deserves a special shout-out. Rebecca Prendergast is one of those people!

So far, Rebecca has donated nearly 300 pounds of beautiful, fresh tomatoes 🍅 to the pantry. But her generosity goes even further: she raises vegetables on nearly an acre of her own ground and donates all of it to people in need. Rebecca’s kindness is a wonderful light of hope and exactly what our community is all about.

🛒❤️ 971 pounds of kindness… that’s a whole lot of groceries!

A huge THANK YOU to Grocery Outlet for helping to keep our shelves stocked during their annual Grocers Against Hunger campaign this July! 🎆

Thanks to the incredible generosity of their customers, managers, and employees, 971 pounds of food were donated to help our neighbors in need.

Every item purchased, every donation made, and every act of kindness adds up to make a real difference in our community. 💚

With all the flooding around Quakertown last night, some of you may be wondering about the pantry. We did get a little water in overnight, but thanks to our hero, Ken Carr, that's the extent of it!

He was down here bright and early at 5AM this morning cleaning up, and thanks to his hard work everything is drying out nicely!

Ken often operates in the background to keep the pantry running smoothly, and this was no exception! As always, we are so incredibly thankful and lucky to have Ken on our side!

🌟 Proof that you’re never too young to make a BIG difference! 🌟

Huge thank you to Raya, an incredible 12-year-old who turned her Confirmation project into an opportunity to help others in our community.

Thanks to her hard work and the generosity of those who supported her, Raya collected an amazing 133 pounds of food for the Quakertown Food Pantry! 🥫💚

What an incredible accomplishment! Raya’s kindness, compassion, and willingness to give back are an inspiration to all of us. She reminds us that one person—no matter their age—can have a lasting impact.

💙 A huge THANK YOU to the amazing team at Merck Sharp & Dohme in Chalfont for their generosity and community spirit!

Through the kindness of their employees and clients, they collected 201 pounds of food to help restock the shelves at the Quakertown Food Pantry. In addition, they presented us with a generous monetary donation that will help us continue serving our neighbors facing food insecurity.

A very special thank you to Alena for personally delivering these wonderful donations. Your thoughtfulness and dedication make a real difference in the lives of so many in our community.

We are incredibly grateful for partners like Merck Sharp & Dohme who help us ensure that no one has to face hunger alone. ❤️

Special thanks to Grocery Outlet for their continued support of our pantry. Their employees helped to promote their annual Independence From Hunger campaign and helped to load these groceries into cars for easy pickup.
Grocery Outlet donated over 5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ pounds of food and our pantry volunteers worked quickly to replenish our shelves with this incredibly generous donation! This is the 16th year that Grocery Outlet has participated in this food drive for area pantries!

Special thanks to the First United Church of Christ - Quakertown Pastor Dale and the VBS kids who organized and donated "Birthday Bags" for those in need at our Pantry. The bags contained all of the ingredients for a perfect birthday 🎂celebration. And, the children learned how to reach out to others in their community.
