08-25-26 A bit of this week's outreach
Homeless To Independence Inc' "Feed Quakertown Project" on Sunday 08-22-26 delivered fresh, hot and refrigerated foods to families and individuals in Quakertown, PA. Homeless To Independence Inc. welcomes Fino's Pizzeria #339 in the Quakertown Farmers Market to our "Feed Quakertown Project". This past Sunday they donated 16-slices of freshly baked pizza with toppings that helped to feed the homeless and working poor in our community.Donated umbrellas were also passed out to the people that walk to work.This food was added to food donated by The Lunch Box in shop and Bistro 1015 #315 in the Quakertown Farmers Market - please support these awesome businesses! Along with the above food we also passed on fresh vegetables donations, from both Peggy & Dave and Bob and Barbara's gardens of peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes.
PLEASE NOTE: ALL OF THE PERISHABLE FOODS GIVEN OUT ARE WITHIN THE 72-HOUR PREP GUIDELINES!
Fresh grown vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, potatoes and peppers were delivered to the Quakertown Food Pantry, in Quakertown PA on Tuesday, August 25th, 2026 this week along with nonperishable foods.
We are always accepting your garden's overproduction of produce to go with everyone else's to the Quakertown Food Pantry!
Carrots are still not quite ready - hopefully will be going to the pantry next week!

I WANT TO REITERATE - when you drop off your clothing donations here - your clothing will go out to those in need for free! it will NOT be sold here! We have donors that specifically donate for us to sell and raise funds - AND WE HAVE PLENTY!
We are now accepting fall & winter clothing for all ages and sizes - this clothing will be given away for FREE by clothing closets and smaller orgs that assist with these needs. Please feel free to drop off at our shop below.
Please remember, that if you are in the Greater Quakertown, PA area and just have a small amount of non-perishable goods, all types of cleaning products, adult incontinence items, wheelchairs/walkers/canes, you are welcome to drop off at our:

and your items will be dropped off during our outreach the following week!
Donation acceptance hours are:
Fri & Sat fr 9am - 9pm
Sun from 10am to 5pm!
Our nonprofit is 20-yrs old, all volunteer & we do it without grant funding!
