An Argentine animal rescue group is helping former laboratory rats find new homes through adoption events like Ratapalooza in Buenos Aires. Organized by Team Ratas, the initiative connects families with rodents that would otherwise be euthanized after being used in research. Since launching in 2016, the group has built a network of foster homes and rescued thousands of rats and mice, placing many into permanent homes.
