🐰❤️ Three Bunnies Need Our Help This Week!

Meet Brucee! 💕

This adorable 8-month-old lop-eared bunny came to Binky Bunny Tales Rescue as an owner surrender. He's a sweet, curious little guy who can be a bit shy at first. He's also a very tidy bunny who's already litter box trained!

And we have some wonderful news... Brucee has a forever home waiting for him! 🏡❤️

But before he heads off to his new family, he needs to be neutered.

And Brucee isn't alone! Three of our rescued boys are scheduled for neuter surgeries this week. One had his appointment today, and the other two are scheduled for later this week.

These essential surgeries help keep our bunnies healthy, prevent unwanted litters, and prepare them for happy lives in loving homes.

💕 Our goal is to raise $500 this week to help cover the cost of all three surgeries.

🐰💕 Meet the Bunny Monday: Sundae! 🍨

Looking for a little sweetness in your life? Meet Sundae, an adorable, gentle girl who's ready for a second chance at forever! 💗

Sundae's journey hasn't been easy. After being found abandoned, she was rescued and eventually found a loving home. Sadly, her owner passed away, and Sundae found herself back in rescue through no fault of her own. 💔

Despite everything she's been through, Sundae remains a super sweet bunny! She's a little shy at first, but she's friendly, curious, and has so much love to give. 🥰

🐾 A little about Sundae:
🍓 Adult, spayed female
🍓 Sweet, shy, and curious
🍓 Litter box trained
🍓 Healthy with no ongoing medical issues
🍓 Could be a wonderful companion for a neutered male bunny

Sundae has already experienced the joy of having a home. Now she deserves another chance at a loving family who will cherish her for the rest of her life. 🏡❤️

Mallow has had some eye troubles recently and she has an absess at the base of her ears and surgery is the only option.
We have 5 rabbits coming into the vet today for various appointments from exams to follow ups diagnostics and a surgery.
Donations are definitely needed to help cover everything today.

R.I.P. Carla. You were the sweetest.
Yesterday I took Carla in as she had developed a nasty infection and we did find that she had no use of her back end and it was causing problems for her. It was not fair to her and we made the decision with the vets to let her go.
I cried and just sat with her and told how beautiful she was and she started licking me. She was so quiet snuggled up with me and went to sleep in my arms and passed very peacefully. 🌈🐇🩷

🐰 Wellness Wednesday: Try the Daily Treat Test!

Here’s a quick wellness check you can do with your bunny every day:

🍪 Offer them one of their favorite rabbit-safe treats.

Do they eagerly accept it? Great! That’s a good sign.

Do they suddenly refuse it? Pay attention. Rabbits are very good at hiding illness, and a change in appetite can be one of the first signs that something isn’t right.

If your bunny refuses a treat they normally love:

🐰 Offer their usual hay or favorite greens and see if they’ll eat.

💩 Check the litter box. Are they producing their normal amount and size of p**p?

👀 Watch for other changes, such as unusual quietness, hiding, a hunched posture or tooth grinding.

If your rabbit isn’t eating normally, has stopped eating, or p**p production has decreased or stopped, contact a rabbit-savvy veterinarian promptly. Rabbits can become seriously ill when they stop eating, so don’t wait to see if it resolves on its own.

It takes just a few seconds each day. Make the Daily Treat Test part of your bunny’s wellness routine! 💚

Cardboard boxes can make great toys and hideouts for rabbits — but keep them simple!

Before giving your bunny a box, remove:
✂️ Tape and labels
📎 Staples
🧴 Glossy or heavily printed coatings
🧵 Strings or packing materials

Plain cardboard boxes are perfect for hiding, digging and remodeling — usually with great enthusiasm. 😂🐇
