Thank you to everyone who came out and made the Uganda Hope and Health Project fundraiser such an incredible success. The Rotary Club of Bonney Lake Tehaleh is so grateful for the amazing support from our community. Huge thanks to Bonney Lake Tavern for being such fantastic hosts, and to everyone who showed up ready to make a difference. A big shoutout to Simon Javan Okello for bringing the energy with unforgettable live music.

A Beautiful Encounter, A Big Impact 🙏
On my flight to San Diego, I met a kind lady who happened to sit next to me. As we talked, I shared our wheelchair project with her and how we’re working to bring dignity, mobility, and independence to people in need in Uganda.
Without hesitation, and still in mid‑air, she made a cash donation to support our cause. Her generosity moved me deeply and reminded me that compassion truly knows no borders.
To this wonderful woman, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your kindness is helping us push closer to our goal.

We’re sharing an update on our Adovicuganda International container in Uganda. The process has been long and hectic, but we’re happy to say we’re almost there.
Inspectors from the National Drug Authority have completed their part, and we now have some medical supplies that have expired and must be disposed of at a cost. After this, we’ll find out how to move forward and whether the Uganda Revenue Authority will release the container.
