Meeker Mansion Our vision is to bridge the past, present, and future by keeping local history vibrant, relevant, and accessible.

Meeker Mansion: This Italianate Victorian mansion has been restored to its former glory and is on the National Register of Historic Sites. The home located at 312 Spring ST, is owned by the Puyallup Historical Society at Meeker Mansion, which operates it as a small house museum. 1890 home of Hop King and Oregon Trail pioneer Ezra Meeker and his suffragette wife, Eliza Jane, features hand-painted ceilings, "furniture grade" woodwork and lots of stained glass. In addition to being open for tours from March-December, the house and grounds are the site of many events during the year. Please see our websites and pages for more information."

It is almost time for the final Spiritualist Faire of the 2026 season at the Meeker Mansion Museum, Saturday, November 14th from 10:00 am till 4:00pm.
Two floors of the museum will be occupied by healers, spiritual counselors, tarot card readers, and more. Connect with your past, look into your future, or learn about yourself while visiting the professionals stationed throughout the historic Meeker Mansion. This is a family friendly event for healing and spiritual guidance.

There is a $7.00 per person entrance fee during the event. Each reader will charge their own fees. Many readers prefer cash. Please note there are no vendors at this event, just readers.

At this time we are not accepting any new readers for this event. If you are interested in joining our waiting list for the 2027 season you can email [email protected].

Do you love history, Halloween, and bringing stories to life? Meeker Mansion is looking for volunteer character performers to join us for All Hallows Eve on October 23rd and 24th, 2026.

On this day in history in 1852 "at about 9 o'clock at night, with a bright moon shining" the Meeker family finally reached Portland.

After five months Ezra and Eliza Jane Meeker along with their infant son Marion, finished their trek across the Oregon Trail. Ezra Meeker wrote that Eliza Jane was so sick he had to carry her "up the steep bank of the Willamette River and three blocks away to the lodging house".

Just 10 years later the Meeker family would make their way to what was to become Puyallup, where a handful of families had already settled. Little did Ezra Meeker likely suspect that, much later, his life would again circle back to the Oregon Trail.

C***r Squeeze is Tomorrow! Have you bought your tickets?

Join the Meeker Mansion Saturday, September 19th, 2026 from 10am to 3pm for a day of fun autumn activities. Hayrides are back and included in the purchase of each admission ticket as well as Ezra's Oregon Trail Adventure game, c***r press demonstrations, and a tour of the Meeker Mansion Museum. Experience the kids market, explore what local vendors have to offer, enjoy apple themed treats, and (for those over 21) enjoy a beverage from Cockrell's C***ry.

Tickets are available online now at www.meekermansion.org until 4pm on September 18th. Be sure to get yours now and skip the line.
