Helping Hands Loving Hearts Sewing We are a "sewing for service" group that meets monthly to sew various projects to help people/children in our community.

Our sewing for Community Service Group meets monthly to sew various projects for those in need in our community. Our projects are "easy to sew" so we can get them done quickly and distributed to those who need them. Projects have included: baby items for teen moms, pillowcases, Christmas stockings and quilts for foster kids, fleece hats & scarves for a homeless shelter, dog/cat beds and blankets for an animal rescue center and tied quilts for a women's shelter. We enjoy using our talents and love of sewing to make "homemade hugs" projects for those in need.

Today we delivered 27 darling quilts for kids made by Helping Hands Loving Hearts ❤️ Sew for Service Group to Fisher House at JBLM (Fort Lewis. WA). We love making quilts for children in our community. "By small and simple things, great things come to pass one stitch at a time." 💓💓💓 Thanks sew much to David Thomas, our longarm quilter guy who helps get our quilts finished. 🤩

January and February 2026 Helping Hands, Loving Hearts 💕 Sew for Service Group made 30 Bible clothing costumes for "A Walk Through Holy Week" event to be held for Easter at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Puyallup WA. This was an amazing sew for service project. We loved seeing the costumes we made while attending the Easter event in March.
