Puyallup High School Alumni Association The Puyallup Alumni Association was formed in 1992 from members of the Puyallup Centennial Committee. Membership in the PHS Alumni Association is free!

The two primary missions of the PHS Alumni Association is to raise funds in order to provide scholarships to graduating seniors and to promote continued social interaction between alumni across the decades . After 18-months of planning, the group hosted its first Alumni Fundraiser (dinner/dance), which witnessed 200 attendees and raised a little money to be put toward scholarships for PHS graduate

s. The event was well-received and there was clear demand for an encore. The Dinner/Dance was repeated the following year and annually after that. In a single night, as many as 540 attendees have enjoyed this occasion and all proceeds go directly to scholarships. Over the years, the Alumni Association has:

* Established and maintained the PHS Heritage Museum in the commons are at PHS

* Assisted the Viking Booster Club and Celebration of Success

* Relocated and refurbished the original gates from Viking Field

* Raised funds for the PHS Special Olympics Program and other groups

* Funded pitching machine and Championship rings for the baseball team

* Funded a new storage building for the tennis teams

* Updated the PHS Alumni Directory

These individuals received acknowledgement of their awards on 5/19/26 and are now looking forward to their post-secondary education. Please join us in congratulating this year's recipients! To plagiarize the late Dave Niehause - “My Oh My!”. The 2025 PHS Alumni Assembly was one for the books! Our hats are off in respect for the amazing efforts of the entire PHS ecosystem! Many many thanks to the students and staff from the Band, Leadership, Viking News Network, Vanguard, Cheer & Dance, Security and the rest of the PHS staff for their extracurricular efforts for the 2025 event! Our goal was to create an atmosphere relevant to all. Our alumni were quite impressed with the coordinated efforts of the Class of 2026 and we hope they gained more insight to how firmly we embrace tradition and school spirit.

A special thank you to principal Dave Sunich for his facilitation that served as a catalyst for success! We are interested to hear your feedback and are already taking notes of things that will make next year’s Alumni Assembly even better!

We wish you all a wonderful holiday season and a prosperous and healthy new year!

While it may be impossible to match the excitement of last nights amazing Seahawk victory, your alma mater will host the 102nd annual PHS Alumni Assembly today! The assembly will include the senior class and is scheduled from 1:25-2:55. We have arranged for nearby parking and have the closest area along the street reserved for handicap parking. We will have people guiding you where to park.

No tickets or RSVP required - just come to the gym, mingle with your friends and classmates, and enjoy the 90 minute program that has been prepared for you, our honored guests.

We hope to see some retro dress and a sea of purple in the crowd!

The 102nd PHS Alumni Assembly is fast-approaching! The event will be held in the school gym next Friday 12/19, from 1:25-2:55pm.

You wont want to miss this year’s assembly, which will include the current senior class. The students and the Alumni Association have collaborated on the format and hope you will enjoy their efforts!

Parking is available nearby and at the open Sound Transit lot along the railroad tracks. We recommend that you arrive in time to be signed in and seated in time, but please don’t arrive too early, as classes are in session. Note that there will NOT be an Open House in the school building this year. Simply head to the gym and be sure to sign in under your year of graduation. Please print your name and email address clearly, as this is the only contact information we have to keep you informed.

IN THE SPIRIT OF FUN, ALL ALUMNI ARE ENCOURAGED TO DRESS IN A CLOTHING STYLE THAT YOU WORE WHEN YOU GRADUATED! IF YA GOT EM, WEAR EM!Short of that, purple attire is always fashionable!

No tickets or RSVPs required - simply show up and enjoy an entertaining look at PHS across the decades!
