TEARS Washington is incredibly grateful to the True Brothers for hosting their annual SIDS Ride in memory of baby Kristina and in support of families who have experienced the devastating loss of a baby to SIDS/SUID.

Sudden infant death remains one of the leading causes of infant death. Through your support, TEARS helps families before and after loss-providing prevention resources and education while also offering compassionate support to grieving families.

1,000 babies remembered 💗💙

On October 15, 2026, TEARS will gather at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC for our National Wave of Light honoring the babies who will forever be loved and remembered.

We’re extending our $1 registration so every family who wants the opportunity can have their baby’s name honored at this national event.

Your $1 registration includes:

• Your baby’s name on a luminary bag, with photos shared here on social media
• Your baby’s name read aloud during our livestreamed ceremony from our nation’s capital
• The opportunity to create a team in your baby’s memory

Fundraising is optional. If you choose to fundraise, your efforts help TEARS continue providing vital support and programs for grieving families.

Our goal is to honor 1,000 babies in Washington, DC. Help us make sure your baby’s name is among them.

Join us for TEARS’ free virtual SIDS/SUID Loss Support Group this Saturday, August 8, at 1:00 PM PST. This is a safe, compassionate space to connect with other bereaved parents and caregivers who understand the unique journey of infant loss.

The Puyallup Tribe of Indians has demonstrated a deep commitment to families grieving the death of a child in their community.
