This weekend is your last chance to submit your child’s photo to be featured on the jumbo screen during the TEARS Walk at Cheney Stadium.

We need to have all photos over to Cheney Stadium by Monday morning.

💙 Dads Grieve Too 💙

This year at the TEARS Rock & Walk at Cheney Stadium, we will have a special support table dedicated to bereaved dads.

The table will feature baseballs generously provided by the Tacoma Rainiers, where dads can write their child’s name and take home a meaningful keepsake. We’ll also have snacks curated especially for dads, along with resources and support information created specifically for grieving fathers.

Too often, dads feel like they have to be strong for everyone else while carrying their own grief in silence. We want every bereaved dad to know that he is seen, supported, and not alone.

Tag a dad who needs this reminder. 💙

There’s still time to register for this special event as we come together to walk in memory of the babies and children who are forever loved, forever remembered, and deeply missed.

We are so excited to share that K9 Comfort Dog, Sharon, will be joining us at the TEARS Rock & Walk Remembrance Walk at Cheney Stadium!

Sharon will be available throughout the event for lots of comforting pets, love, and support for anyone who may need a little extra comfort during this special day of remembrance.

A heartfelt thank you to the Lutheran Church Charities K9 Comfort Dogs program for bringing Sharon out to support our TEARS families and community.

One month until the TEARS Remembrance Rock & Walk at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma on Saturday, June 13th. 🦋

This special day is all about creating community, remembrance, and support for families grieving the loss of a baby or child.

Every family will receive a handmade butterfly with their child’s name, and all children’s names being honored will be featured on the LED stadium screen. Families can also submit a photo of their child to be displayed on the jumbo screen during the event.

TEARS Mother’s Day Tea for bereaved moms.
