The moment we have all been waiting for - SEED SAVING!

Back at our Seed Swap in February, many of you signed a commitment to your neighbors, to the seed libraries, and to our collective future as food growers. This is the moment to make good on that commitment, and to invest in each other by putting a little pile of seeds aside for next year. Join the Gleaning Project during one of the busiest seasons of the year, Apple Season! When you volunteer with us you get to see a new site, harvest fruit, and take home a personal share. The rest of the fruit is donated to local hunger relief organizations or becomes part of our closed loop program.

This week you can experience harvesting GRAPES, PEARS, PLUMS & APPLES! When you volunteer with the Gleaning Project you can expect to save hundreds of pounds of produce, improve the site, and enjoy your own delicious share of the produce.
