We're looking forward to this summer in Ghana with Uriel!

27 eager and deserving students received Farther Foundation scholarships this year to travel across the country and around the world to bring home the best in themselves.

In his application, Uriel told us, "My family has made many sacrifices to allow me to focus on . I am now offered the opportunity to to to do service. i will continue to apply the same work ethic I have done to this point making education and my top priority."

Uriel was referred to us by HighSight and will be traveling to this summer with Putney Student Travel.

Here is the 1st place winner in our 2013 student photo contest. It is from Alicia who traveled to Tanzania to participate in service work, learn the culture and experience sights like this! Alicia also generously donated her prize money back to Farther Foundation to help other students have similar experiences.
