The Putnam Veterans Advisory Committee would like to thank everyone that came out for our memorial day weekend events through the rain to pay respect and honor those veterans that paid the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms that we enjoy to this day. As chairman of the committee I was humbled to see that support our community continues to show to our veterans.

Received Communication: Good morning, and Happy New Year!
I’m reaching out to schedule our first Veterans/Legislative quarterly meeting of 2026. First, I want to sincerely thank both our veterans and legislators for your continued commitment to making these gatherings so productive. Your active participation ensures that valuable information flows back to your respective organizations, helping keep veterans across the Quiet Corner well-informed. Equally important, our legislators bring veterans’ questions and concerns directly to Hartford. This non-partisan collaboration in support of our veterans is truly appreciated by all.
With that in mind, our next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 5, 2026, in Room 109 at the Putnam Municipal Complex.
Thank you again to everyone who helps make these meetings so beneficial for our veteran community. I look forward to seeing you there!
Kind Regards, Brian Maynard

This meeting will be with Senator Jeff Gordon, Ranking Member of the Veterans and Military Affairs Committee in the Connecticut Senate.
