This past weekend, members of Troop 47 spent the weekend at Camp Seton in Greenwich, CT and hiked 6 miles on the lower segments of the Old Croton Aqueduct trail!

Troop 47 hosted the Spring Camporee this year at Cathedral Pines Park. We had a great turnout and everyone had a good time despite the rain. A big thank you to the scouts from Troop 197 Ronkonkoma, NY - Public who helped run the stations and all the events this weekend.

Scouts from Troop 47 joined Pack 47 Pat-Med and placed flags at Calverton National Cemetery in preparation for Memorial Day.

This past weekend members of Troop 47 had the opportunity to participate alongside many other scout units in a Historical Trail clean up at the Manor of St George.

This group of scouts and scouters are the first people to camp there since it was an active fort during the Revolutionary War, and are the first scouts EVER to have the opportunity to camp on the manor grounds.

Scouts spent a wet Saturday clearing garbage and debris, clearing and conditioning pathways and working on inpeoving exisiting trails!

Troop 47 cabin camping at Durland Scout Reservation. They hiked 6.25 miles to have a backpacking lunch at Clear Lake, encountered a geocache, cooked dinner at the cabin, worked on requirements, played games, and had a great time!
