Next PCHSC Meeting is Friday May 15th at 12pm to 1:30pm at First Baptist Church of Palatka (501 Oak St). All partners, supporters, and others trying to address, and bring real solutions to, homelessness are welcome to come to the meeting. Please spread the word.

Many don't understand homelessness and the multitude of causes, nor how hard it is to climb out once you're there. Over 40% do have jobs, approximately 90% aren't seen in the streets or panhandling; they hide themselves. Many don't understand homelessness will only get worse, not better, if it's ignored. You can't expect to brush homelessness under the rug and it go away.
