One donation can make a bigger difference than you realize.
Today, we want to give a HUGE and heartfelt THANK YOU to The Closet Collection - Hattiesburg for donating clothing and shoes to Developing Family Resources after their big sale!
When you donate items to us, they don’t just sit on a shelf.
They become a pair of shoes for a child who may not have a good pair to wear.
They become clothing for a mom or dad who is struggling to provide for their family.
They become diapers for a baby.
They become hope for someone who may be going through one of the hardest seasons of their life.
Because of generous businesses like Closet Collection, these clothes and shoes will now make their way into our shop, where families in our community can come in and choose what they need completely FREE.
SO, WHAT IS DEVELOPING FAMILY RESOURCES?
Developing Family Resources is a FREE store in Purvis, Mississippi, created to help anyone and everyone in need with basic necessities.
We provide:

👟 Shoes
🧦 Socks & undergarments
🧴 Hygiene products
🍼 Baby items
👶 Diapers & wipes
🥫 Food & pantry items
💙 And so much more
Our service is appointment-based and available once a month. Families come into our store and get to shop for the things they need — just like they would in a regular store.
The biggest difference?
There is no price tag. Everything is FREE.
We want the people we serve to feel respected, valued, and cared for. We don’t want someone to feel ashamed because they’re going through a difficult time. Sometimes people simply need a little help getting through a season — and that’s exactly why we’re here.
Every donation, every volunteer hour, every financial contribution, every share, and every word of encouragement helps us keep our doors open for the next person who walks through them.
