Ananda Viplava is a place for spiritual awakening that promotes the physical, mental, and spiritual upliftment of all beings. Through this endeavor the center will serve as a local nexus for global social transformation. The project sits on 80 acres of beautiful fields, woods, wetlands and streams just 2 hours north of New York City near the northern Catskill mountains in the Hudson Valley.

Update on the Construction of the New Meditation Hall and Accommodations Building at Ananda Viplava Master Unit

We are excited to share that the external shell of the accommodations building is nearly complete. While we still need to add the metal roof, windows, doors, siding, and verandas, the basic structure is now in place. The foundation and slab for the Meditation Hall are also ready, and the next steps include building the walls, installing the steel beams, and completing the internal wood framing. Thank you for your continued support in making this project a reality.

Thanks to the Bank of Greene County who awarded us $500 to hold a community day event at Ananda Viplava. We are looking forward to serve our beautiful community and for more future cooperation with Bank of Green County.

Thank you to everyone who attended our 2024 Charitable Foundation Awards Ceremony at our Cairo branch! This year we are awarding $421,000 to local organizations!

Organizations who received grants at the Cairo branch were American Legion Mohican Post 983- Cairo, NY, Ananda Viplava Master Unit, Cairo Development Foundation, Cairo-Durham Central School District, Cairo Food Pantry, Cairo-Durham Rotary Club of NY, East Durham St. Patrick's Day Parade, Festival of Trees, Fortnightly Club of Catskill, The Friends of the Cairo Public Library, Greene County Animal Alliance, Greene County Panthers, Greene County Women's League, Kiskatom Fire Department, Rip Van Winkle Soccer Club, The Pipes and Drums of Greene, & Resurrection Lutheran Church.

Beautiful spring day at the MU Ananda Viplava in NY.
Also preparing to travel this afternoon. There is always a lot to do on the traveling day as many situations come up in the last minute. And the construction is still going on. In front of the building you can see the concrete slab for the new Meditation Hall. We are in the process of hiring the contractors for the walls, the metal beams structure, and the inside wood framing.
