Bringing Hope and Healing to Veterans and Their Families
Archie Foundation for Therapeutic Horsemanship·Wednesday, September 19, 2018·
Our goal is to enable veterans and their families to benefit from the healing power of horses through a unique series of Therapeutic Horsemanship training courses. Currently, we offer three levels of an 8-week intensive horsemanship program called Hoofbeats for Vet

erans through our partner at Texas Therapeutic Riding Center, based at the premier North Texas Equestrian Center in Wylie, TX. Archie Foundation riders will not only experience the thrill of riding a horse but will be on the road to becoming a true horseman. Their experience will go beyond the standard riding lesson-based therapeutic programming with extensive training in horse care, barn care and weekly equine facilitated learning sessions with a licensed trainer.
