The Nick Loeb Foundation’s 4th Annual “Party with the Police” returned on Saturday, June 28, 2025, in Purchase, New York. This family-style BBQ and poolside celebration raised scholarship funding for the children of law enforcement officers from White Plains, Harrison, and Greenwich police departments.
Guests enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon under sunny skies at a private estate, complete with BBQ catered by celebrity Chef David Burke, live music, swimming, zip‑lining, a mechanical bull, supersized slip and slide, and a thrilling 50‑foot waterslide. A vintage fire truck, beside pony rides and children's games, also delighted guests on the 85-acre estate.
The day’s highlight was the "VIP Experience" featuring Major League baseball legends, where VIP ticket holders had a once-in-a-lifetime batting practice opportunity alongside Major League Baseball legends. Former Mets stars Dwight Gooden and Howard Johnson coached aspiring pitchers and batters, offering fundamental lessons on technique, control, and focus. Yankee greats Roy White, Jim Leyritz, and third‑base coach Lou Bernardi also joined, with Mookie Wilson making a special appearance. Wilson's catering company, Legacy Catering, was also on site cooking for attendees.
"I'm a huge Mets fan and love the sport. It's a huge privilege to have a baseball diamond in my backyard and a great opportunity to share this with the local communities to raise money for such an honorable cause," said Nick Loeb. He continued, "Each year the event gets bigger and better with more community support and it's become a cherished family tradition. We are continuously making improvements and deeply value the support from our sponsors and event partners." There were more than three dozen local businesses and organizations on site showcasing their services and products for approximately 500 attendees. Greenwich Police Chief James J. Heavey and White Plains Police Chief Joseph Castelli, along with the First Selectman of Greenwich, Fred Camillio, were also in attendance.
Event proceeds are dedicated to college scholarships for law enforcement families—continuing a philanthropic tradition that has already awarded scholarships to several local youths. Police officers from Greenwich, Harrison and White Plains and their families attend the event for free each year. Guests are encouraged to connect and get to know their local law enforcement families to build stronger community relationships.
This year’s success was made possible thanks to generous sponsors: Pfizer, Morgan Stanley, Wegmans, J.P. Morgan, Sonoma Loeb Wines, World Baseball Network, Moffly Media, Cappelli, New England Total Energy, Maria Fareri Children's Hospital, Tony Casale Inc., and others. Their backing helped amplify the foundation’s mission: honoring police families, strengthening community bonds, and opening doors to educational opportunities for deserving children.
