Our County AL Riders were honored to present a $1,000 check to the Douglas J. Green Memorial Foundation this past Monday night, from funds raised at last month’s Biketoberfest auction and 50/50. Accepting the check was Doug’s mom and sister (both Founders of the Foundation), vowing that the funds will go towards assembling care packages to soldiers deployed overseas during this upcoming holiday season.

SPC Green, who grew up in Loudoun Co. was killed in action during the war in Afghanistan. To learn more about the Foundation and all the good they do, visit www.djgmf.org.
