Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Memorial Day is a time to reflect with gratitude on the courage, dedication, and selflessness of those who gave their lives to protect our freedoms.

As we spend time with family and friends, let us also take a moment to remember the heroes and the families who carry their legacy forward.

Wishing everyone a meaningful and safe Memorial Day!

Notable and prominent fallen Military heros that also played lacrosse include:

LT Brendan Looney: A standout lacrosse player at the U.S. Naval Academy and a captain on the Navy team. Looney became a decorated Navy SEAL and tragically died in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan in 2010. The Navy lacrosse team annually honors his legacy by awarding his No. 40 jersey to the most deserving teammate.

Sgt. James (Jimmy) J. Regan: A high school All-American and a standout midfielder for the Duke University Blue Devils. After September 11, he turned down lucrative Wall Street job offers and law school scholarships to enlist in the U.S. Army. Regan served four tours as an Army Ranger and was killed in action by an IED in northern Iraq in 2007. His legacy is supported by the Lead The Way Fund.

1LT Raymond Enners: A champion lacrosse player at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He served as an officer in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was killed in action in 1968. The Enners family's athletic legacy lives on, and multiple prestigious lacrosse awards are given out yearly in his honor.

Capt. Bob Dolan: A former lacrosse player at the U.S. Naval Academy who had a distinguished 20-year career in the Navy. He was serving as the commander of the U.S.S. John Hancock and was working at the Pentagon when he was killed during the September 11 terrorist attacks.

Come train, compete,& elevate with Pro Trainers from Piranha Lax!
Open to ALL players, Boys and Girls K-8, and ALL Skill levels.

Dates: Tuesday evenings in June & July
