I would like to thank Everyone for telling me how to do the bypass. I wondered where everybody had been!
This is good to know: It's ridiculous to have over 1000 friends and only 25 are allowed to see my post.
It WORKS!! I have a whole new news feed. I’m seeing posts from people I haven’t seen in years.
Here’s how to bypass the system FB now has in place that limits posts on your news feed.
Their new algorithm chooses the same few people - about 25 - who will read your posts. Therefore,
Hold your finger down anywhere in this post and "copy" will pop up. Click "copy". Then go your page, start a new post and put your finger anywhere in the blank field. "Paste" will pop up and click paste.
This will bypass the system.
If you are reading this message, do me a favor and leave me a quick comment...a "hello," a sticker, whatever you want, so you will appear in my newsfeed‼️

A week ago today, we had Hoss examined at Virginia Tech's Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center for a tendon tear in his left front leg. He has been diagnosed with a “severe superficial digital flexor tendinopathy associated with carpal canal syndrome”. Yea, whaaat?!? No clue how this happened, other than possible conformation issues. Hoss’ vets were all wonderful and caring and there was a lot of them! Hoss behaved and was a gentleman. Anyway, today marks one week finished of 6 weeks of stall rest! Poor boy, but thankfully, Hoss is a very good boy and seems to be taking it all in stride as long as I refill his hay bag twice a day.

It’s been a tough year at Donkey Meadows Safe Haven, where we focus on educating people about the endangered breed of the American Mammoth Jackstock and then giving our donkeys new jobs that show they are still very useful in today’s world.

In August we lost “Fancy” to DSLD, Degenerative Suspensory Ligament Disease after only two years of diagnosis. Now, Hoss. We are a 501c3, registered nonprofit and work completely off donations. If you feel you are able to donate any amount to help with medical bills that are piling up, we’d be very grateful. We are looking at special shoeing and shockwave therapy to aid with pain and healing. ❤️‍🩹

I saw a post from a friend yesterday that reminded me to be grateful everyday for all things, good or bad, no matter what, be grateful. Today, I choose to be grateful, for God has a plan, one that I trust.

A big heartfelt “Thank you” goes out to all who attended our 2025 Christmas with the Donkeys event last weekend! A special thank you to all the volunteers who worked hard all day, (so hard none of us got any pictures) and another thank you to the vendors who rounded out the event. It was a wonderful day for all!
