📣 CVBC Club Volleyball Update

Swipe ➡️ to read the full announcement from CVBC regarding the upcoming volleyball season.

An important update for our CVBC volleyball families:

While we will not be able to field our traditional club volleyball teams this fall, this is a pause, not the end of our club program. 💙💚

We’re already looking ahead and hope to return to club competition next year!

In the meantime, we’re excited to offer a new in-house recreational volleyball league for ages 8–15, combining quality volleyball instruction with the repetition and game experience young athletes need to continue developing their skills. 🏐

📍 Practices and matches will be held locally throughout Purcellville, Round Hill, Lovettsville, and Hamilton.

We’ll be sharing registration details and more information about the recreational season in the coming weeks on our website and social media.

And we’re already looking forward to bringing beach volleyball back in the spring and summer! ☀️🏐

We truly appreciate the patience, understanding, and continued support of our volleyball community. We know this is disappointing news for families who were hoping for a traditional club season, and we are committed to continuing to provide opportunities for young athletes to learn, compete, grow, and love the game. 💙💚

Thank you for being part of CVBC!

📣 LOUDOUN COUNTY PARENTS, WE NEED YOUR VOICE! 🏀🏐⚽️

🏀 Basketball
⚽ Indoor Soccer
🥍 Indoor Lacrosse
🤸 Cheer & Dance
🤼 Wrestling
🏃 Indoor Track

And much more, including marching band, robotics, trade shows, art shows, and cultural events!

Your input matters! Loudoun County wants to hear from parents, athletes, coaches, and community members about what type of facility would best serve our growing community.

📍 Brier Woods High School, Ashburn

🏆 WELCOME, COACH RICK GA***RD! 🏆

Capital Youth Sports Club is excited to welcome Rick Ga***rd as our new Director of Youth Sports! 💙💚

Coach Rick brings a passion for athlete development, a strong background in track and field, and a personal connection to the Capital family as the parent of a former Hawks volleyball player. His goal is to continue building on the strong foundation CYSC has created while keeping our programs centered on athletic development, personal growth, and the opportunities families have come to value throughout the years.

With experience as a USATF-certified coach, Rick believes in technical precision, strength development, and helping young athletes build skills that will serve them well both now and in the future.

Four amazing days, countless smiles, new friendships, and so much volleyball! 🏐💚

What an incredible week at our CVBC Summer Volleyball Camp! We loved watching these athletes work hard, encourage one another, build confidence, and have so much fun along the way. We hope each player left with new skills, a greater love for the game, and memories that will last long after camp ended.

A very special THANK YOU to all of our amazing coaches who gave their time, energy, and encouragement throughout the week. Your passion for teaching and investing in these young athletes is what makes CVBC so special. We couldn’t have done it without you!
