Selling a Luxury Home? Don’t Overlook This.

What should you do with art, jewelry, and furnishings when selling or transitioning a luxury Naples home?

Many owners in Port Royal, Park Shore, Pelican Bay, Aqualane Shores, Old Naples, and Bonita Bay ask this question, especially when managing multiple residences or handling an estate from out of town. Understanding the value of collections and knowing where to place them is an important part of protecting wealth during a real estate transition.

I recently met Alyssa D. Quinlan, CEO of Freeman’s | Hindman, one of the country’s leading auction houses specializing in fine art, jewelry, couture, rare books, antiques, and important estate pieces. With more than 25 years of experience advising collectors and high-net-worth families, Alyssa and her team provide professional valuation, strategic guidance, and global exposure to qualified buyers.

Naples clients have direct access to their local office:

As part of my concierge real estate services, I help coordinate trusted resources like Freeman’s | Hindman so clients can seamlessly manage both their property and personal assets when downsizing, relocating, or preparing a legacy home for its next chapter.

Out and about doing a little market research at the International Builders’ Show in Orlando… and WOW, this kitchen stopped me in my tracks.

This isn’t just a sink — it’s practically a command center. Massive workstation design, layered accessories, built-ins for everything, and a sleek sensor-touch water dispenser with temperature-controlled filtered water. Every bell and whistle you can imagine is tucked right into this one space.

And let’s talk about the colors. Rich woods, warm metals, dramatic stone… color is definitely back, and it’s not shy. The trend is moving away from sterile white-on-white and leaning into personality, depth, and materials that feel curated and livable.

The takeaway? Kitchens are becoming experiential spaces — equal parts function, design statement, and everyday luxury.

Feeling very inspired (and slightly tempted to redesign everything now). More finds to come!

🔶 The Trend Report 2026 Is Here 🔶
The Luxury Market Isn’t Just Resilient. It’s Becoming a Legacy Asset.

With the release of the Coldwell Banker Global Luxury 2026 Trend Report, one thing is clear: the luxury market is not slowing down it’s evolving.

Even as broader market conditions shift, high-net-worth buyers continue to view real estate as a cornerstone of long-term wealth, lifestyle, and legacy planning. Today’s luxury purchases are intentional. They’re value-driven. And they’re built to endure.

Nearly 80% of Coldwell Banker Global Luxury Property Specialists describe their markets as resilient. That stability reflects a powerful mindset shift affluent buyers aren’t just buying homes, they’re securing tangible assets that protect and grow wealth for generations.

Luxury real estate is being treated as a strategic investment not just for enjoyment today, but for stability tomorrow. When evaluating properties in this space, context matters. This is about more than square footage. It’s about legacy, lifestyle, and lasting value.

✨ If you’re thinking about where luxury real estate fits into your long-term strategy, let’s talk.

🚧 Babcock Ranch Traffic Update 🚧

Starting November 17, 2025, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will be restricting commercial truck traffic on the Wilson Pigott Bridge (SR 31) over the Caloosahatchee River due to safety and maintenance concerns.

🚗 Good news: Passenger vehicles can still cross — so everyday travel in and out of Babcock Ranch stays open.

🚛 Heads-up: Trucks will detour to Bayshore Road, which could mean a little more congestion for a few months.

🛠️ The fix: FDOT is reconstructing the bridge deck with completion projected for March 2026. The truck detour stays in place until then.

Some locals are concerned about traffic, while others say it’s a smart move to keep everyone safe and protect the bridge for the long run. Either way, it’s progress — and that’s what growth looks like.

What do you think — a short-term slowdown or a long-term win for our community?
