Keep your kids away from ROBLOX. A large developer, Jackson Jennings (jacksonjenningsdev), at a company called Chesapeake Media has been charged with Child Po*******hy (or Child Sexual Abuse Material - CSAM). His simulations have garnered tens of millions of players. The community also found imagery that is predatory and exploitive in stories that he created. A cyber security student who has worked closely with several ROBLOX developers said:
"The ROBLOX situation is real dire right now. If I could just plead to parents everywhere to not let their children play the game, I would. The loads of developers and even ROBLOX staffers themselves that are predatory is just insane. [Jackson] made a high school game that literally had the most suspect animated images for the branding of the game and that company did nothing."

U.S. Marshals-led Operation 'Northern Lights' Results in the Recovery and Location of 43 Missing Children in North Florida

Significant recoveries:

1-year-old missing from Leon County recovered by USMS personnel in Baton Rouge, LA.

17 and 1-year-old missing out of Okaloosa County recovered by USMS personnel outside Jackson, MS. Arrest made on non-custodial adult for interference with child custody.

17-year-old missing out of Suwannee County recovered by USMS personnel in Meadville, MS. USMS arrested adult (24) for interference with child custody.

13-year-old missing out of Suwannee County recovered by USMS personnel in Jacksonville after having been missing for 8 months.

15-year-old out of Okaloosa County was a victim of a non-custodial abduction. The child and abductor were located in Ocala, FL and the adult was arrested for interference with child custody.

A first-of-its-kind report commissioned by the state of Florida shines a light on the high risk and occurrences of human trafficking in the state as well as the growing, coordinated response to combat the crime and aid victims. "The 2024 State Report on Human Trafficking" estimates that more than 500,000 people were exploited in labor trafficking and 200,000 in s*x trafficking within the state in the last year. Here are some shocking findings.

An estimated 540,000 people have been victims of labor exploitation and/or labor trafficking.
An estimated 200,000 people have been victims of s*x trafficking.
An estimated 581,000 people have been victims of cyber exploitation.
Over a 90-day period, 340,389 commercial s*x ads were posted in the state.
The majority of human trafficking offenses (69.89%) occurred in private locations, such as private residences or hotels.

This is why we exist and are trying to grow our resources in Charlotte County. There is so much need and we are central so several hotspots. From education to a long term goal of providing survivor care through residential programs, the need is great.

We are so thankful to the USF Research team and all who took the time to research and expose how prominent human trafficking is in Florida.
