*Reminder: Kamiak PTA Board Nominations*
Hello Kestrels,
Two weeks ago at our PTA Meeting on April 21 we announced that we are accepting nominations for the Kamiak PTA Board for 2026-2027! Becoming a board member means you would like to take a more active role in supporting PTA and your student's education and experience at Kamiak. Family members, teachers, staff, and community members can all become a board member - you just need to be a Kamiak PTA Member.
Are you interested in helping the Kamiak Elementary PTA plan for the future? We are accepting nominations for these positions:
Co-President
Vice President - Teacher Liaison
Secretary
We welcome all nominations and if you are interested in serving, you can also nominate yourself! Below is a document outlining the list of responsibilities for each position. If you would like to submit a nomination, please send an email to [email protected] with the following information:
1. Name of nominee
2. Position you are nominating them for
3. Why you are recommending/nominating them
The nomination window opened on April 21 and will will close at 12pm, May 11. After that, the Nominating Committee (Abby Sprouse, Shilo Sprouse, Nathan Bridges) will contact each nominee to discuss next steps. Our elections will happen at our PTA meeting on May 12 – please attend in person or Teams so we can get your support/votes! We will also have our book fair open during that time for you to shop at if you would like!
