🌟 Child Find Screenings are available for the 2026–2027 school year! Child Find is an early childhood developmental screening program designed to help identify children who may have a disability or developmental concern and connect families with appropriate support.

👧🧒 Who is eligible? Children from birth through age 5 who live within Pullman School District boundaries.

📍 Screenings are held at Sunnyside Elementary School throughout the school year.

Homeowner Applications are Open!

Palouse Habitat is excited to announce that applications for our Homeownership Program are now open! Through this program, Palouse Habitat will build three affordable homes in Pullman and Uniontown, helping local families achieve the dream of homeownership.

All interested individuals must complete an application to be considered. Applications can be picked up at our administrative office, downloaded from our website, or requested through our online interest form. To ensure a fair, secure, and consistent application process for all applicants, we encourage anyone seeking additional information or assistance to visit palousehabitat.org or contact our Homeowner Services Manager directly.

We look forward to partnering with families and strengthening our communities through safe, affordable housing.

Community Child Care Center offers Head Start, Early Head Start, and ECEAP programs for eligible families in Whitman County. Preschool programs are available for children ages 3–4, with both half-day and full-day options.

🏠 Early Head Start home visiting services are available throughout Whitman County.

Families who receive SNAP (food benefits) may automatically meet one pathway for eligibility.

Due to staffing changes, breakfast service will no longer be available at Reaney Park or Terre View Apartments. Breakfast and lunch will be available only at Kamiak Elementary. Lunch service will continue at all three locations.
