This is a great warm up for PCT's Pedal Pullman coming up on July 18th. Both are celebrating the history of this place we call home. Hope to see you there on Saturday!

The Historic Preservation Commission’s annual walking tour – held every year since 2016, except for 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic – takes participants on a one-hour journey through Pullman’s past.

This year’s tour is Saturday, June 27 from 5 to 7 p.m.

In recognition of America’s 250th anniversary, this year’s theme is Civic and Government Buildings and Sites, highlighting various downtown locations that helped shape Pullman as it is today. This map shows where Historic Preservation Commission members will be stationed to share local history, along with the locations of downtown’s municipal parking lots.

Anyone interested in learning more about Pullman’s history is encouraged to attend the walking tour. For more information, contact Ariel Medeiros – or better yet, attend a Commission meeting.
