We are saddened to announce that Cooper's Legacy Foundation charity will be dissolving. We are unable to continue to provide assistance to families with pets in need due to the closing of our thrift store. We are no longer accepting preliminary applications for assistance on our website. We are running a going out of business sale at the thrift store, all adult clothing including shoes and purses 2.00, housewares 1.00, Christmas decor items 1.00. Thank you to everyone who has supported us over these last 11 years. You helped over 20 families with pets in need.

We are looking for volunteers for the resale shop. Typical shift is 4 hours, flexible. Shop hours are Mon-Sat 10-6 and Sun 1-5. Great opportunity for high school or college student looking for volunteer hours for college/grad school applications. Call 509 715 1122.

Friends, we have a new pet-in-need, Jax. Jax is an American Staffordshire Terrier who lives on the Palouse. Jax has been his dad's emotional support animal through the loss of his parents. Jax needed surgery for a mast cell tumor which was growing on his right hind leg. Jax's dad was able to cover part of the bill but asked CLF to assist with the rest. Our portion is $876. Anything you can do to offset this cost is greatly appreciated. It helps us remain prepared for our next pet-in-need.
