We are saddened to announce that Cooper's Resale Shop will be closing its doors effective December 6th 2024. In the mean time we are having a going out of business sale, all adult clothing, purses, and shoes 2.00, all housewares 1.00, Christmas decor 1.00 starting Sunday November 3rd. We are looking for volunteers for the resale shop. Typical shift is 4 hours, flexible. Shop hours are Mon-Sat 10-6 and Sun 1-5. Great opportunity for high school or college student looking for volunteer hours for college/grad school applications. Call 509 715 1122.

Friends, we have a new pet-in-need, Jax. Jax is an American Staffordshire Terrier who lives on the Palouse. Jax has been his dad's emotional support animal through the loss of his parents. Jax needed surgery for a mast cell tumor which was growing on his right hind leg. Jax's dad was able to cover part of the bill but asked CLF to assist with the rest. Our portion is $876. Anything you can do to offset this cost is greatly appreciated. It helps us remain prepared for our next pet-in-need.
