On Saturday at Wolf Gap's Giles County Jubilee, you'll enjoy the galleries full of Giles County Historical Society collections! There will also be a bake sale benefiting GCHS, and a table to accept new members on-site.

Be sure to stop by the Giles County Historical Society display at this year’s Jubilee. We're happy to be playing host to the Historical Society's museum this year while their facility at the public library is under renovation.

They’ll be sharing a variety of local history items and artifacts that help tell the story of the people, places, and everyday life that shaped Giles County through the years. Learn more about Historical Society membership, and support them by buying from their bake sale!

Sometimes the smallest objects can tell the biggest stories. You never know what piece of the past might bring back a memory or teach you something new.

Come take a look on May 9 at Wolf Gap, 10:00 to 3:00.

The next GCHS quarterly meeting will be held at Wolf Gap located at 2718 Tarpley Shop Rd on this Sunday April 26th @ 2PM. There will be talks about Revolutionary Solders in Giles County and a photo Show & Tell of some of the Guy Mitchell collection images. Come out & also see some of the GCHS museum items on display.

The Giles County Historical Society will be temporarily closed for most of 2026 due to the Giles County Public Library's expansion project starting 1/2/2026. Some exhibits will be relocated to the Wolf Gap Education & Nature Center (2718 Tarpley Shop Rd, Pulaski, TN). Regular bulletins and meetings will continue as scheduled. Donations can still be made by appointment. Researchers including those without email should contact the Giles County Archives. Genealogy inquiries can also be directed to the Giles County, TN History & Genealogy page. Limited research assistance may be available to visiting patrons who have made prior arrangements.

Our next Quarterly Meeting will be on July 27th @ 2PM in the Giles County Public Library with guest speaker Bobby Wynne talking about his new book, Growing Up in Pulaski, Life and Times in the 1950’s and 1960’s in a Small Town in the South. Come out to hear Mr. Wynne’s reminiscences whether you lived then or not. This is a great way to learn how Pulaski has changed since the 1950’s!
Copies will be for sale for $20.
