Pulaski Theatre The Pulaski Theatre is owned and operated by the Friends of the Pulaski Theatre. We are a 501(c)3 non Opened in 1911 as the Elk's Theatre until 1922.

By bringing a variety of quality entertainment at affordable prices, we hope to enhance our community through music & arts. In addition to the shows we put on, we are open to those in the community that want to host events. We have held seminars, hosted local dance & theater groups, participated in community events & award ceremonies, & provide rentals for private events. We operate on the money b

rought in from our shows, donations, and grant money. In 1924 Dix-Richardson Dry Goods took over. Renovated and re-opened as the Pulaski Theatre in 1937 as a movie house. After attendance dropped, the Theatre closed again in 1991 and fell into disrepair. Given to the County of Pulaski in 1992 it was slated for destruction. In 1993 the "Friends of Pulaski Theatre" was formed, saved the Theatre and began the long road to renovation and reopening. The Theatre showed it's first movie in April 2012 since re-opening in 2008.

As you all know, remodeling is like that one relative who just won't leave - it's a process and an expensive one at that. 🫟Especially the paint - oh boy, do we have a lot of walls to paint, it's like they're breeding or something. After a stint of being closed, the historical Pulaski Theatre reopened to the public in 2008 and since then we've had normal wear and tear - you know, the usual, and we've needed to update a lot of aspects of the theater. After not one, but two flooding events, losing a good amount of our drywall and carpet, we've finally gotten to the point where the carpet has been replaced, the drywall has been put in, and now it's time to repaint all the walls.
And the best part? All the work being done in the theater, aside from the carpet, has been done by our awesome volunteer staff 🦸🦸‍♀️- we're happy to do it and at no cost to the volunteers, because who needs sleep or a social life, right? 🥴
We do have to pay for materials though, so donations received through June 24 and 25th during the Give Local NRV fundraising 24-hour event will help with these much-needed renovations and all the painting that needs to be done. Please visit pulaskitheatre.com and tap that donation button 🥺🙏

June 24-25 Give Local NRV is hosting a 24 hour donation event for non-profits. The Pulaski Theatre is run and operated solely by volunteers and the donations we receive from shows, sponsors, and generous souls. Money that we receive goes to keeping the lights on and trying to bring our community quality entertainment. We love showcasing, our local bands and performers of all genres, even local talents are very expensive to us. We would love to have more movies and bigger name artist performing at the theater as well, but as you know, the bigger the name, the bigger the price tag.

June 24th – One Day Only to support the Pulaski Theatre! We’re raising funds to renovate after multiple floods and years of wear and tear. Our mission is to provide affordable entertainment while preserving the cultural heritage of this beautiful historic landmark. Your generous donations make it all possible.

Come out and join us on Saturday, July 12th @ 7PM as the winners of the Battle of the Bands concert put on their own show!

Tickets are $10 and are available for purchase at Martin's Pharmacy in Pulaski and Dublin and New River Economy Drug in Fairlawn.
