Join us for the River Valley Fall Festival parade and opening ceremonies at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, in Pulaski. The parade lineup will begin at 10:30 on Water Street. Everyone is welcome to join and stay for the free festival, which will feature The Dorals from 2 to 5 p.m., food, vendors, a bounce house, bingo, gift basket and 50-50 raffles, kickball tournament, car cruise and more. Learn something about the Penn-Ohio Steampunk Society during the River Valley Festival on Sept. 12 in Pulaski. Steampunk is a subgenre of science fiction that incorporates retrofuturistic technology and aesthetics inspired by 19th-century industrial steam-powered machinery. Steampunk works are often set in the Victorian era or the American Wild West where steam power remains in mainstream use.
