Athletes are responsible for their own transportation to and from bowling practices, and a parent or guardian is required to remain with the athlete throughout practice.

Because we must reserve the appropriate number of lanes with the bowling alley, athletes are required to RSVP for each bowling practice. Deadline to RSVP for this practice is August 26th. Please RSVP by emailing [email protected]

We will be holding several bowling practices on Saturdays throughout the season. Athletes are responsible for their own transportation to and from bowling practices, and a parent or guardian is required to remain with the athlete throughout practice.

Our first practice will be held on Saturday, August 22nd, from 12:00–2:00 PM at KingPin Lanes in Lawrenceburg.

Because we must reserve the appropriate number of lanes with the bowling alley, athletes are required to RSVP for each bowling practice. Deadline to RSVP for this practice is August 19th.

Thank you WKSR Radio for always supporting Special Olympics Giles County! 🎳

Special Olympics Giles County will officially kick off our 2026–2027 Special Olympics season.

We're beginning the season with Bowling, and we look forward to another great year of providing opportunities for our athletes to participate, build skills, and have fun.

Our bowling practices will be Saturday, August 22nd and August 29th from 12:00 until 2:00 PM at KingPin Lanes in Lawrenceburg. Bowling is open to any individual ages 8 and up, including homeschoolers and adults, that have an intellectual disability. Athletes are asked to RSVP by August 19th to [email protected].

Registration is now open for our 2026 Young & Junior Athletes Summer Camp!

Join us July 9-10 at Father Ryan High School for two days of sports, fun, and friendship. Open to children ages 3-12 with and without disabilities, this free camp is a great opportunity to build skills, stay active, try new sports, and make new friends.
